The Boone County Health department will be offering free tobacco cessation classes starting in October.
On Thursdays from 6-7 PM starting on October 19th through November 16th, anyone can drop by Boone County Office Building to learn how to quit tobacco. Participants will receive a quitting workbook, stop smoking kits, and other handy tools to help them along the way. Participants may also receive free nicotine replacement patches if they choose.
Classes will be held in the Connie Lamar Room at 116 W. Washington St. in Lebanon. Parking is available on the Square. If you’d like to sign up, please call (765)-482-3942, option 6. Hope to see you there!
